My last post discussed redundancy and the effect it can have on the family, as well as the person being made redundant.
Dave Haddock, our Civil Service leaver, is doing his very best to protect his family from the change but at the end of the day, he knows life will become harder for them. This isn’t easy to deal with!
Like many of us Dave has found himself having to support his youngest son long after the son has left university. But Dave can’t afford to go on doing it now. He doesn’t want to tell his son that.
Dave and his wife have started to talk about his redundancy and the problems it brings but she sees them all as being for Dave to solve!
There is some good news. Dave has been a reluctant networker. Now as you can read on his page, finally, he has seen the light and he has decided to give it a go.
You can find out more about Dave and his current dilemmas on his page at this link. There are entries on the page for 3rd, 4th and 5th June and you can find his earlier story below that.
What advice would you give Dave and his family right now? The dilemmas he is facing are are faced by many others – how can we help?
